
Off the island’s northern coast, a , the Chinese Navy, a ship, and a Foreign fishing vessel collided at night. Although the affair did not cause any injury, it did prompt the start of an inspection to establish who was responsible.
The collision took place about 45 nautical miles ( 72 kilometers ) from the coastal city of Taichung, according to a statement from the Taiwan Naval Fleet Command. A Chung Ho-class container landing ship, which collided with a Chinese-flagged vehicle in unidentified situations, is the defense system involved. Authorities in Taiwan have confirmed that no one was hurt aboard the two vessels and that maritime security was not impacted by the military ship’s damage. But, a search has been launched to find out the precise nature of the incident.
The investigation will become” completed in accordance with relevant laws clarify duties,” according to the Naval  and Fleet Command. No formal statements about the event have the Chinese authorities received at the moment. The conflict comes as Taiwan and China’s sea tensions are rising, and there are continuous disputes over their independence and the presence of Chinese vessels in waters close to the area. It’s still to be seen whether the incident will result in political repercussions or get handled solely as an isolated event.
