A small plane crashed into a house in Minnestona on Saturday, killing all the passengers on board and causing fire and smoke at the home.
The Federal Aviation Administration reported that a SOCATA TBM7 aircraft en route to Anoka County-Blaine Airport crashed in a residential area around 12: 20 p. m. ( local time ), leaving the home engulfed in flames, ABC News reported.
Brooklyn Park Fire Chief Shawn Conway said there were no individuals among the people after it struck a private home. The actual number of passengers remains unsubstantiated. No one inside the property was reported killed.
A video shared on social media captured a house at the end of a tree-lined garden consumed by flames, with alarms wailing in the background.
From another perspective, heavy plumes of smoke billowed from the burning house, which stood in the middle of a town. The neighboring buildings appeared undisturbed by the fireplace. At least three rescuers were visible, working to kill the blaze.
The fire captain confirmed that all home occupants were evacuated properly.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz acknowledged the incident on X, stating:” My staff is in touch with regional leaders on the field in Brooklyn Park, and we are monitoring the situation carefully. Glad to the first responders answering the call”.
The National Transportation Safety Board may carry the key research alongside the FAA.
The NTSB released a speech: “NTSB authorities are en route to the field and are expected to arrive monday. When on site, the authorities will begin the process of documenting the image and examining the plane. The plane will then be recovered to a secure facility for more analysis”.
