Dr Peter Marks, the chairman of FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, was forced to resign from his post after he evidently did not support health minister RFK Jr’s thoughts. The departure has sparked alarms among specialists, who are slamming the Kennedy-led division for becoming orchestral in perpetuating sits.
In his resignation letter, Dr Marks wrote:” It has become apparent that wisdom and clarity are not desired by the Secretary, but instead he wishes subordinate assurance of his propaganda and lies”.
” This is what happens when you hire a 20 year severe anti-vaccine activist who continues to claim the technology that vaccines don’t produce dementia, and put him in a position of influence”, Dr Paul Offit, chairman of the Vaccine Education Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a vaccine assistant to the FDA, told CNN, referring to Kennedy.
” But what you’re about to see is reports done, apparently under the mandate of the CDC, showing that vaccines cause autism. That’s what you’re about to see, because he will put in place people who will shoe data to make it look that way, which will make more fear, will produce probably more individuals who may choose not to be vaccinated, and you’ll just see more and more in the manner of these epidemics”. The office asked the CDC to research vaccines and dementia though there’s solid evidence that vaccinations do not cause autism.
” This is not how we make America healthy”, Dr Ashish Jhan, professor of Brown University School of Public Health, said reacting to Dr Marks ‘ leave.
The US is currently battling a influenza outbreak with cases reported in 18 says, the center of which is in Texas and New Mexico.
