Elon Musk recently said that there are many things that concern him and keep him up at night. The head of the department of government efficiency (DOGE) shared his thoughts during the second part of his exclusive interview with Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier.
” Well, there’s a lot of things that I suppose that I worry about. And some of these things may seem arcane to people”, Musk said in the Friday section of” Unique Report”. One of his pressing problems is the declining delivery rate in the US and other nations, which he warned may have serious consequences if not reversed. ” Unless that shifts, society will vanish”, he cautioned, adding that despite awareness of the issue, “nothing seems to be turning that about. Humanity is dying”.
The discussion, which originally focused on DOGE’s cost-cutting techniques, took a private change as Musk shared broader concerns about America’s path. He emphasised the nation’s vital role in upholding American civilization, likening it to a fundamental pillar that, if weakened, could take everything crashing down.
” America is the key column that holds up all of Northern culture… If that row fails, it’s all over. You can’t work out to New Zealand or some other position. It’s through. But either we strengthen that column and make sure America is powerful, and we’ll be strong for a long time, or that building’s coming over”, Musk warned.
Despite his fears, the Tesla founder remained hopeful about the government’s hopes when long as it continues to defend its main principles. ” There is potential for a great future as long as America remains the land of freedom and opportunity”, he remarked. He even praised US President Donald Trump and the DOGE staff for their dedication to defending these important principles.
Musk’s look on the program followed his Thursday conversation alongside seven DOGE staff members—Steve Davis, Joe Gebbia, Aram Moghaddassi, Brad Smith, Anthony Armstrong, Tom Krause, and Tyler Hassen. The group provided an inside look at DOGE’s procedures, including attempts to simplify agencies such as the internal revenue service, the inside office, and social stability.
As of March 28, DOGE reports that its initiatives have saved American taxpayers a total of$ 130 billion, averaging$ 807.45 per taxpayer, according to the department’s official website.
