
Media mogul and philanthropist , Ted Turner , was recently hospitalized with a slight case of pneumonia.
His spokesperson , Phillip Evans, in a speech on Tuesday, said Turner “is recuperating at a rehabilitation facility and expects a complete treatment. While he was diagnosed with , Lewy Body , memory in 2018 and despite health issues it presents, Ted continues to remain adaptable and engaged in his professional and personal activities”.
Lewy body memory impacts more than 1 million Americans, the second most common form of chronic memory behind even Alzheimer’s disease. Irregular payments of a protein called alpha-synuclein in the brain affect chemicals in the brain, leading to problems with thinking, activity, behavior and feelings,  , according to the , National Institute on Aging.
Turner, 86, who created , CNN , and many cable systems in , Atlanta , before selling , Turner Broadcasting , in 1996, splits his time between , Atlanta , and , Montana , and makes some people images.
He was just featured in a four-part video called ,” Call Me Ted” that is now accessible on the Max streaming services.
