Amid rumors that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos ‘ beautiful bride in Venice may put the typical life in the city out of products, the city administration confirmed Saturday that it’s true that the city has been chosen as the destination for the wedding but it would have only 200 guests that it can support and no disruption may be caused by the celebration. The area in a small statement didn’t give a deadline for the bride. European media have reported it will be between June 24-26, with a few weeks of events.
” The many theories and false reports circulating about Jeff Bezos ‘ marriage are completely baseless”, the statement said.
Venice administration said it has enough practice handling global events like G20, G7 conferences where more than 200 individuals came to the city.
Some information in both European and international media suggested that Bezos ‘ wedding organizers had already booked rooms at Venice’s major luxury hotels and reserved for a few days in late June large numbers of gondolas and water taxis — which are generally used by locals and tourists for everyday vehicles.
The statement said there would be no abnormal disruption to anyone. ” We are mutually working and supporting the organizers, to ensure that the event will be absolutely respectful of the fragility and uniqueness of the city”, Mayor Luigi Brugnaro said.
Wedding celebration on Bezos ‘ superyacht
The celebration will take place on Bezos ‘$ 500-million superyacht, Koru, which will be anchored in the Venice lagoon. Invitations have been sent out for the most awaited wedding as speculations that they would soon tie the knot have been doing the rounds.
