Two defendants have been arrested in what the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office described as a thwarted foods attack that took place last year.
About$ 1, 200 fair of ribeye, another perfect meat reductions and more items were stolen from the Safeway on , Home Road , in , Cupertino, officials said in a social media post.
Thanks to an update Safeway employee who was able to identify the suspects and note down the license plate number of the getaway car, officials were able to track down the suspects at their house, recover the stolen items and reserve both into the , Santa Clara County , major prison.
” The only thing well-done here is the teamwork”, the Sheriff’s Office said on its social media platforms.
Details on how the thieves were able to make off with such a large haul have not been released.
