DHAKA: Times after covering the painting of the Liberation War Memorial Mancha in the Lalmonirhat region in Bangladesh with material on the government’s Independence Day, it was demolished at the education of the local authorities.
Speaking to the local press, the employees said they were demolishing the painting under the order of the Lalmonirhat assistant director. The painting showcased the history of the 1950s speech movement, the ancient March 7 speech, the War of Independence, the formation of the Mujibnagar govt, the dawn of the new sun in the impartial land, the 1971 genocide, the noble freedom fighters exulting in victory, the seven great heroes, the surrender of the Muslim army, and many other historical moments. Transparency International Bangladesh said it will rally the work.
Local advertising quoted city officials as saying they had covered the painting in response to the demand raised by student dress Students Against Discrimination, which said it “does not coincide” with the nature of the July Revolution. agencies
