Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, warned on Monday that if Iran does not agree to a new nuclear deal with Washington, the country will be dealt a” strong blast” as a result of President Donald Trump’s risks of “possible bombing.”
In a live conversation, Khamenei remarked on US threats and said,” They threaten to complete mischief.” They will undoubtedly get a solid counterattack if it is carried out, he added.
Trump issued this warning as a result of his warning about “possible bombing” and extra taxes if Iran rejects the US-proposed atomic offer.
Trump stated a timeline of a few weeks for Iran to cooperate in an NBC News phone meeting on Sunday, adding that any further action may depend on how the deal was going.
There will be bombing if they don’t generate a bargain, they say. Trump said that it will become bombing places that have never been before.
There’s a possibility that I may make extra tariffs on them like I did four years ago, he added.
Trump also used a conciliatory tone, saying that Iran may take the agreement but that things will” never been pretty” if they don’t.
” But we’ll see what happens,” the statement reads. I can’t help but think about them striking a bargain. Everyone on this planes knows what that means, and a package would be more appealing to me than the other option, which I believe will be disappointing. And I do not like that,” the US President continued.
Khamenei added that there is only one surrogate force in this region, and that is the crooked Zionist regime, which Khamenei more called for.
President Masoud Pezeshkian claimed previously in a video released by the Iranian state media that direct negotiations with Iran were turned down because Tehran had communicated its status to Trump through middlemen in Oman via international secretary Abbas Araghchi.
He added that” the supreme head has also stressed that direct negotiations is remain.”
We do not skim agreements, Pezeshkian continued.
Since Trump’s returning to office, tensions between the US and Iran have increased, as his presidency has continued to work with impunity to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
Trump withdrew the US from the 2015 nuclear agreement, which sought to halt Iran’s nuclear program, before after charging Tehran with non-compliance. According to Politico, China, Russia, France, Germany, Britain, and the European Union all participated in the contract.
