Also Chicken Little may be exhausted trying to keep up with what Democrats claim President Donald Trump wants to accomplish.
Simply look at the news. On Tuesday, Rep. Yvette Clarke, D-N. Y., said that Republican breaks to SNAP “are the difference between life and death for the many in the areas that we serve”. SNAP is the branded food stamps software.

Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N. Y., has accused Republicans of setting “in action the largest slice to Medicaid in British history”. Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said Trump’s function to destroy the Department of Education “is a clear strike on America’s students, teachers and people”.
To know why this is fearmongering, regard a recent trip I made to 7-Eleven. My wife and I wanted to buy our boys Slurpees after football practice. Servis… don’t show Robert Kennedy Jr. In between my frantic efforts to keep my children from overfilling their bowls, I noticed a sticker on the system.
” All Slurpee plates are EBT eligible”, it read.
EBT stands for Electronic Benefits Transfer. It’s how people spend their Lock benefits at shops. There was a similar mark on the beer system. The U. S. Department of Agriculture site confirms that the symptoms are correct.
Citizens are subsidizing Slurpees and coke.
This is inefficient. Food passports are supposed to aid low-income individuals ward off poverty, no fulfill their sweet tooth. But think the media’s response if you proposed making bad food unsuitable for food stamps.
They’d say that you wanted to cut rewards from the bad. That you wanted to cut the plan. That you wanted to denigrate bad people.  ,

This isn’t debate. House Republicans are already pushing a costs to do just that, and those are some of the problems they’re facing.
Those problems may include a grain of truth but they’re greatly misleading. If Republicans pass a moratorium on SNAP paying for junk food, poverty didn’t raise one touch. The biggest impact may be a decline in diabetes, which low-income Americans are more likely to grow. That could save the Medicaid system cash, but then Democrats would probably say Republicans are cutting the program.
Once you see this design, Democrats ‘ sensationalism is hard to take really. The Department of Education has been around for centuries. Apart from some bright locations with law schools, public education is usually awful. Just because the label says “education” doesn’t imply the office is doing little to improve how children learn.
Then, if I haven’t convinced you, I challenge you to do this: Start the timeline app on your phone. Create an interview for July 15, 2026. In the information part, write down three things you think will happen as the result of Democratic behavior.
Some examples: Democrats may reduce SNAP benefits and 100, 000 people will die of hunger. Trump will reduce Medicaid and individuals may have worse health effects, including 50, 000 more spirit attack deaths. Gutting the Department of Education will lower student success by five percentage points. A word: Look beyond the money amount of a certain program and consider results. Federal plans are supposed to become a means to an end, not just a money pit.

If you think Trump has authoritarian objectives, set a warning for November 2026 or 2028. Write down if you think Trump will withdraw elections or work for a second term.
Make sure to also create down if someone has made this claim.
When that time comes, look around and see what happened. Apparently Trump has led America into extraordinary levels of hunger, disease and knowledge. Or maybe Democrats have staked their political success on scaring people like you.
Either way, you didn’t have to take my word for it.
