Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem warned on Sunday that anyone who threatens or attempts to hurt law enforcement officials will be prosecuted to the “fullest level of the law ” following a popular movie that featured a TikToker encouraging folks to “shoot at ICE officials on sight. ”
In a popular videos on TikTok, social media users belal_donq, whose account appears to have been removed, said, ” Shoot at ICE officials on sight. That’s straight. If ICE brokers are trying to get you or a loved one, take them on view.
“The means they’re pulling up with veils on, with unknown vehicles, no emblem, no nothing, it could be anyone. It can be crew members, ” the social media users added. “You have every right to shoot at them. ”
In the video, the TikTok user claimed that shooting Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( ICE ) agents would be the “best self-defense case” since people are “just in fear ” of their lives and they do not know the identity of the individuals in masks and unmarked vehicles.
“This is ridiculous, ” the social media users continued. “ What is our country coming to? Why do you want get an ICE representative anyway? Do you like separating children from their relatives? Do you like deporting individuals that are studying? I can comprehend deporting a crew member or scammers, but honest people is absurd. ”

“The means these ICE officials are pulling up with masks on, unknown cars, they are pulling up like gang members, ” the social media users added. “They are pulling up like the Mafia. You might as well take them on view and own your time in court. ”
Sharing the video on X, previously Twitter, Noem issued a major alert to any individuals who take the social internet user’s counsel to “shoot at ICE officials on sight. ”
The Homeland Security director warned, “If you threaten or attempt to harm a law enforcement officer we will consider you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law. ”
Following the release of the film encouraging people to take at ICE leaders, National Border Patrol Council Vice President Hector Garza told Fox News, “This form of speech is not only unsafe, it incites real-world murder and undermines the rule of law. ”
In response to the film, Garza encouraged social media platforms to take action against material promoting murder and claimed that free speech does not protect talk “inciting criminal acts. ” The National Border Patrol Council vice chairman added, “Allowing quite content to remain online sets lives at risk. ”
