” I have lost trust I may walk the streets without being abducted”, Taal said on X. ” Weighing up these possibilities, I took the decision to keep on my own words”.
CNN reported that the Department of Homeland Security confirmed that Taal may get moving with self-deportation.
” It is a pleasure to be granted a visa to reside &, research in the United States of America”, the national said in a statement. ” When you advocate for crime and terrorism that opportunity may be revoked, and you should not be in this region”.
Taal was told to retreat to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to a court filing made soon after he asked a prosecutor to preemptively purchase the state not to arrest him. On Thursday, US District Judge Elizabeth Coombe rejected his plea. She also rejected his demand to end the protection of two national professional orders that spurred a new crackdown on foreign students who, like him, have been involved in pro-Palestinian activism.
” I feel like a man in my state. What is America if folks like Momodou are certainly welcome around”? Taal’s lawyer Eric Lee posted in X as Taal decided not to pursue the case and leave the country.
