In the middle of an explanation, a girl at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport stripped her underwear down in the middle of a crazy grooming incident, joining a growing trend of crazy naked incidents at airports.
According to the New York Post, viral videos that are popular on social media show the naked woman walking around Spirit Airlines ‘ Gate G12 while just sporting light underwear, dark shoes, and big hoop earrings. A person who is thought to be her traveling companion was seen attempting to return the clothes she had taken off.
A police officer later gave the woman a dark T-shirt that she finally put on in another picture. While others in the history recorded the event, tourists at the gate mostly avoided her.
Social media users quickly linked the event to Spirit Airlines ‘ reputation for attracting obnoxious people. In terms of public perception, Spirit placed 98th out of 100 major corporations in a subsequent Axios-Harris Poll.
This porn tragedy at airports is not as uncommon as one might assume.
A drunken, dressed gentleman was captured earlier this year on video wandering through another airport terminal at Fort Lauderdale, according to View from the Wing. After storming a TSA station in Miami, a nearly-naked girl was tased. In addition, there have been instances in Jamaica, Atlanta, and Detroit where a person protested an overbooked journey by lying in a crowd for an afternoon.
Although courts have determined that people seducing at TSA gates is not constitutionally protected, the First Amendment protects several forms of expression. Despite this, airport incidents involving people stripping continue to garner media attention.
