Prior to a crucial Senate vote, President Donald Trump is putting more pressure on four Democratic senators, which could derail his efforts to hold Canada responsible for its part in the fentanyl crisis. The estimate, a joint resolution supported by Democrats, seeks to end the president’s declared national emergency over fentanyl, properly overriding his executive order to impose tariffs on the nation.  ,

Trump criticized the lawmakers, accusing them of supporting Democrats in a pressing concern and undermining his efforts to stop the fatal movement of fentanyl into the US. He demanded that they support their group and reject what he described as a Democrat-backed try to stifle Canada’s position in the U.S.’s deadly fentanyl flood.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that” Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Rand Paul, also of Kentucky, will maybe get on the Republican wagon, for a change, and combat the Liberals ‘ wild and obvious drive to no restrict Canada for the price, into our Country, of massive amounts of Fentanyl.” He argued that imposing tariffs on imported fentanyl would “make it more expensive to distribute and buy” ( ).
Trump charged these senators with supporting the radical left and drug cartels by failing to take decisive action. He warned that” they are playing with the lives of the American people and right into the hands of the Radical Left Democrats and Drug Cartels.”

Trump dismissed the Senate bill as nothing more than a political maneuver intended to expose the party’s weakness. The House will never approve it, and I, as your President, will never sign it, he declared,” The Senate Bill is just a ploy of the Dems to show and expose the weakness of some Republicans, namely these four, in that it is not going anywhere.”
He then questioned why these lawmakers “unchecked, and without penalty” allowed fentanyl to enter the country, adding,” What is wrong with them besides having Trump Derangement Syndrome, also known as TDS,”
Trump urged the people of Kentucky, Alaska, and Maine to act and demand that their elected officials uphold true Republican values by calling on the electorates that represent these senators. Please get in touch with these Senators to finally agree to Republican values and ideals, he wrote.
Trump also expressed frustration with the senators ‘ unwillingness to support the party’s agenda in a swipe at their relationship with the Senate Republican leadership. They have been incredibly challenging to deal with, he said, and they are unbelievably disloyal to Republican Party itself and hardworking Majority Leader John Thune.
