Robert F. Kennedy Jr., head of the Health and Human Services ( HHS) under the Trump administration, reportedly personally approved the firing of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s wife, Christine Grady, from her post leading the National Institutes of Health Clinical Centers ‘ bioethics department. According to Politico,  , there was a “mass decrease in power across the heath department, properly gutted leadership at the NIH’s infections disease office and important parts of the Food and Drug Administration”. Kennedy is also said to have “reassigned” a handful of Fauci’s associates.
In a blog on X, Kennedy acknowledged the large reform taking place but said the shift was needed:  ,” This is a difficult time for all of us at HHS. Our hearts get out to those who have lost their jobs. But the reality is evident: what we’ve been doing isn’t working”, Kennedy wrote.
” Despite spending$ 1.9 trillion in annual fees, Americans are getting sicker every time. In the past four years alone, the agency’s budget has grown by 38 % — yet outcomes continue to decline”, his post continued, emphasizing the need to” shift course”.
” HHS needs to be recalibrated to convey prevention, not merely sick treatment. These adjustments will certainly affect Medicare, Medicaid, or other important health service”, he assured.
” This reform is about realigning HHS with its main goal: to stop the chronic disease outbreaks and Make America Healthy Again”, he added. ” It’s a win-win for taxpayers, and for every American we serve”.
Politico’s review included data from 11 people, many of whom were granted privacy for fear of retribution. The report stated that while some people were moved about, people claimed that some NIH officials were encouraged to leave their work in the federal government entirely.
Breitbart News writes:
Fauci, who led the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and served as a medical assistant to the White House during the pandemic, has come under fire for the past few years for giving out questionable counsel, as he supported lockdowns, large concealing, and vaccines — none of which prevented transmission of the coronavirus.
