The leader met with Loomer, a self-described “investigative journalist”, on Wednesday. Loomer has publicly accused Trump presidency staff of treachery and said there have been vetting problems at the NSC and abroad through numerous articles on X.
Forbes reported that three older NSC officers were fired after the Loomer meet at the White House. The layoffs came a week after the Signal group chat hole, in which the Atlantic‘s editor-in-chief was mistakenly added to a party talk with Waltz and other federal security officers.
Loomer began posting about alleged “vetting failure]s ]” after the Signal group chat leak and offered to vet staffers for the Trump administration.
When asked about the reported layoffs, NSC Spokesman Brian Hughes told the Washington Examiner in a speech,” NSC doesn’t post on employees things”.
Loomer confirmed she met with Trump at the White House in a blog on X on Thursday. While she declined to say what she discussed with Trump, Loomer emphasized” the necessity of STRONG VETTING” for the management.
” I woke up this morning to discover that there are still people in and around the West Wing who are LEAKING to the angry, left-wing press about President Trump’s *confidential* and *private* discussions in the Oval Office. I want to repeat how critical it is that people who gain access to the White House or the leadership value the protection of their meetings with President Trump and his older staff”, Loomer said.

The government’s connection with Loomer on the campaign trail last month sparked controversy, especially after she accompanied Trump during his trips to Sept. 11 monument services in New York and Pennsylvania.
” She is a strong person. She has strong opinions, and I don’t know what she said, but that’s not up to me”, Trump said in September in response to a question about Loomer’s past controversial statements.
