Elon Musk, who lost billions in the market crash triggered by Donald Trump’s tariff, mostly maintained silence on the issue, but on Saturday, he did not mince his words for Trump’s close economic adviser Peter Navarro. Navarro was in favor of strict tariffs though the White House confirmed that President Trump himself took the final call on tariffs. It was his call to impose a 34 per cent tariff on China to which China has now reacted with the same amount of counter-tariff. Tesla relies on imported parts from China and hence it is not good news for Musk who is already fighting global resistance against him and his company.
Does Elon believe Trump taxes are ‘ devastation’?
” A PhD in Econ from Harvard is a terrible thing, not a good point. Results in the ego/brains>, >, 1 problem”, Elon Musk wrote reacting to a picture of Navarro explaining the taxes on CNN.
Therefore Elon Musk continued on that way as he wrote’ Yup’ to a blog that had a quotation:” In every crisis throughout British history, there always seems to be a man from Harvard in the middle of it”.
In that same article, one man defended Navarro and said he’s 100 per cent right. ” He ain’t create s**t”, Elon Must wrote.
Navarro is not the only Harvard man behind the price. Council of Economic Advisers head Stephen Mira is also a Harvard PhD in finance.
Elon Musk is obviously taking a step up from his involvement in the government but the Trump administration asserted that there is nothing strange about this as Elon Musk has many companies to control and he is working as a specific government employee for DOGE– with a tenure of about 130 days which may come to an end in a few weeks. Donald Trump in his latest speech on Elon Musk said he would like to include Elon in his current position as long as possible but ultimately Elon would go back to his company.
