This was a greater than two-cent fall from Friday when the cost of regular gasoline was$ 3.268 per gallon. It marked the next consecutive week of diminishes at the pump. Despite the recent fall, gas prices are still more costly than a week ago, when a gallon of regular gasoline was$ 3.201.

This is 43 cents per gallon more costly than Hawaii, the next state with the highest average fuel cost. In the Aloha State, standard gasoline charges$ 4.515 per gallon. This is followed by Washington ( state ) at$ 4.394, Nevada at$ 4.011, and Oregon at$ 4.002.
