In a problem event, a court in Bangladesh issued a new arrest subpoena on Thursday, alleging that the prime minister, her child Saima Wajed Putul, and 17 others had been allegedly arranged for a personal story. The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC ) issued the charge sheet, which was accepted by the Bangladesh Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain Galib.
According to ACC attorney Mir Ahammed Salam,” Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Mohammad Zakir Hossain Galib issued the permit accepting the ACC cost sheet in the case,” according to news organization PTI.
The prosecutor requested that ACC submit its record on the land dispute involving RAJUK in the Purbachal, Bangladesh, on May 4. On January 12, 2025, along with other federal officials, the ACC brought the case against the original elite.
According to the charge sheet, Hasina’s child Putul allegedly defrauded Hasina’s family by using RAJUK to get the tale, breaking established rules for tale planning in the Purbachal New City Housing Project.
The ACC noted that Putul had previously owned home within the scope of RAJUK’s control in Dhaka. Since November 1, 2023, she has been in New Delhi as the WHO South East Asian local producer.
Hasina and others have recently been subject to two arrest warrants from Bangladesh’s International Crimes Tribunal for human rights violations and forced kidnappings.
Following the ACC’s announcement to look into alleged use of Taka 4, 000 billion by Hasina, Sheikh Rehana, and a previous formal during the” Mujib Centenary” activities, the recent permit comes in.
The Awami League’s centennial celebration held a yearlong in 2020 marked Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s anniversary. Rehana did not take any official positions, and Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, a former principal secretary, was the event planner after retirement.
According to ACC Chairman Mohammad Abdul Momen, all people who are dishonest are treated equally. In instances before Bangladesh’s International Crimes Tribunal, Hasina is charged with additional crimes, including forced disappearances and large killings.
The tribunal, which was first established to prosecute Muslim collaborators in Bangladesh’s Liberation War in 1971, has previously tried and executed various people after going through rigorous appeals.
