John Stamos is defending his most recent look at a Palm Beach, Florida, Mar-a-Lago hotel owned by President Donald Trump.
The 61-year-old” Full House” student claimed that his Saturday performance as emcee at the Palm Beach Ray of Hope Gala was “dedicated to honoring and upholding our infantry soldiers” rather than any political involvement.
Stamos wrote on Instagram Monday that the sold-out” Dancing with the Stars“-themed function was a “nonpartisan” advantage for The Academy for Nursing and Health Occupations. He referred to the university as a nonprofit business that trains up to 400 caregivers annually to handle Palm Beach County’s lack of healthcare professionals.
Stamos emphasized that” supporting caregivers isn’t political — it’s essential.” Linda Adelson and Janet Levy both co-chaired the dinner.
When we need them most, these are the people who show up for us and our people, he said,” I think we should show them the same unwavering dedication they show up with every day.” I support the value of providing care, providing services, and supporting those who care about our neighborhoods.
Stamos, who reportedly supports Democratic policies in the past, reaffirmed his “values and social views,” and urged supporters to support the democratic group Democracy Forward if they would choose not to donate to Palm Beach Ray of Hope.
