Meghan McCain cited the “peace giving” he gave her soon after Christmas last year as evidence that her relationship with President Donald Trump has significantly improved in recent months.

Despite her previous disapproval of Trump, McCain has praised him in some ways. She claimed in December that Trump’s plan to reclaim control of the Panama Canal was sound. Trump wrote her a “really beautiful text” in which he thanked her for supporting his pay a few days later, according to a word information that she received.

Trump is correct about the Panama Canal.

My father was born in the Panama Canal Zone, which is very individual.

On The Sage Steele Show, McCain explained,” And he signed it and said,” Thank you, Meghan,”” I don’t remember exactly what he said. It was like,” Thank you, Meghan, thank you for your support, good luck, from President Trump,” or something like that. And I thought,” That’s ridiculous, that’s ridiculous. I can’t help but think that it feels like, you know, like, form of a little bit of a peace giving.

McCain then went on to detail the “very good” communications she and the president exchanged with each other. McCain asked her companion, Tulsi Gabbard, about the change after the “wild” about-face in her connection with Trump. Gambard cited the death attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024 as “almost dying.”

” No just her, but many people around him have said to me that he has a different view right now,” he said, but I have experienced that surely right today,” McCain said.

She argued that each president has a unique style in the Oval Office, and that the Trump presidency is exhibiting in the White House and in Washington, D.C. For instance, former President Joe Biden came off as “very older” and low-energy, but Trump has” a little more crazy” power that has spread throughout the city.

The president cited how he turned his head just before the gunshots grazed his right ears just before the attempted assassination of Trump, saying,” I’m not supposed to be around. Trump responded, “yes,” when questioned by Byron York of the Washington Examiner about the attempted murder of his career.
