
A 14-year-old man is expected to remain tried as an adult in the shooting after being accused of  of shooting down a pair of New Jersey police soldiers, killing one of them.
The unidentified teen is facing murder, attempted murder, and possession of unlawful arms in connection with the deadly gunfight that broke out in Newark last month, which resulted in the shooting death of Detective Joseph Azcona, age 26, of the unexplained girl.
In New Jersey, time U.S. Attorney Alina Habba is working to have the costs transferred to provincial judge because under state law, children under the age of 15 cannot become tried as adults.
She said,” This is really the way it should be,” during a Thursday appearance on” Fox and Friends.” I don’t care what your time is if you shoot a policeman agent or anyone else. You will be tried as an adult if you belong to a group and have a history of crime at the same time.
The shooting took place close to the Passaic River on the evening of March 7 at Carteret St. and Broadway, close to a McDonald’s and a White Castle.
The gunman allegedly fired more than 20 shots as officials closed in before fatally dramatic Azcona, a five-year veteran of the Newark Police Department.
He was responding to the location as part of an intellect search for defendants in a case involving improper arms, according to police, adding that he didn’t actually have a chance to step out of his car before being fatally struck.
The girl, whose name has not been made public because of his time, was also hurt in the shooting, along with Azcona’s partner. He is still being treated at the doctor, according to Habba.
