According to Columbia County Undersheriff Jacqueline Salvatore, a twin-engine plane carrying two persons crashed on Saturday in a wet area in upstate New York. She claimed there was no harm to any institutions despite never reporting any deaths.
The Mitsubishi MU-2B was reported to be headed for Columbia County Airport near Hudson but crashed about 30 yards apart, near Copake.
Salvatore claimed that first responders have been hampered by clay, weather, and snow as well as mud. An analysis group is expected to arrive in New York by Saturday evening, according to the national transportation safety board.
A plane of the same type, according to the New York Times, took off from White Plains ‘ Westchester County Airport shortly after 11:30 a.m. before turning east near Hudson and vanishing from tracking near Copake.
All six people on board a tour helicopter crashed into the Hudson valley near the New Jersey beach on Thursday, including a Hispanic family of five and the captain, a US navy experienced, in the same day.
In the US, there have been several fatal crashes in recent months, including one involving a medical helicopter crash and a flight incident.
