The unfortunate helicopter that plunged into the Hudson River on Thursday, killing six people, had apparently already completed seven planes that day without trip recording equipment.
Before making its final Hudson River crossing, the Bell 206 L-4 plane lost the life of five family members and the captain, according to a report from the NY Post quoting the National Transportation Safety Board on Saturday night. The plane had seven excursion trips before making its final trip.

No film or camera equipment was discovered at the crash site, according to officials, who confirmed that the plane didn’t use flight recorders. Additionally, researchers have been unable to retrieve any music audio from the plane’s systems.
According to the NTSB declaration, the cockpit, cabin, ahead tail boom section, parallel stabiliser finlets, and horizontal fin have all been recovered from the wreckage. The principal rotor blades are still missing.
While investigators continue to work toward figuring out the cause of the incident, all recovered dust is being sent to NTSB services in Washington, DC for detailed analysis.
Experts had previously claimed that the main rotors ‘ collision with the tail may have been the result of a mechanical failure, breaking the plane off. A lawyer for aerospace law added that the movie suggests a catastrophic failure that left the pilot without any chance of regaining control.
Another review revealed that the horror was brought on by the private business New York Helicopter Tour’s incompetence after the helicopter had reported a structural issue months earlier. According to Federal Aviation Administration information, the aeroplane owned and operated by New York Helicopter experienced a mechanical problem with its distribution council last September. The doomed helicopter was built in 2004 and had already logged 12, 728 hours of flight time when it had to be forced into maintenance, according to records.
The most recent thorough examination of the aircraft was completed on March 1.
The plane, which was carrying Spanish tourists along the Hudson River on Thursday, was the subject of the investigation when it abruptly descended and crashed into the cool waters.
Along with Navy veteran pilot Sean Johnson, the Spanish families Augustin Escobar, Merce Montal, and their children Augustin ( 10 ), Mercedes ( 8 ), and Victor ( 4 ) all perished in the accident.
