
About 50 climbers were stranded overnight at a Kauai river as a result of a swollen stream, according to Hawaii rescuers.
The hikers requested assistance from the Kalalau Trail on Thursday, April 3, at around 11:55 a.m., according to a media release from theKaua’i Fire Department.

On Friday, April 4, rescuers said the stranded customers were able to leave properly. No accidents were reported. Leaders shut down the trail.
