In a naughty opening Easter event, Saturday Night Live used biblical pictures to mock US President Donald Trump‘s erratic price decisions. The show used biblical imagery to illustrate his handling of the US economy.
The outline began with a rehashing of the scene from” The Cleansing of the Temple,” in which Jesus, played by Mikey Day, enrageously cleansed out stores. He declared,” I will clear this position of all its money.”
James Austin Johnson took on the role of Donald Jesus Trump, who proclaimed,” It’s me, your favorite president, Donald Jesus Trump,” and made a comparison to him. He continued,” Some people call me the Messiah because of the mess I, uh, made out of the business,” adding, “because of the clutter.”
Trump was portrayed as the doubtful savior of a financial program he had a hand in wrecking, according to The New York Times, which mash-up sharp social humor with bible parody.
