Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez, a Peruvian illegal immigrant, was found guilty of the murder of Maryland family Rachel Morin on Monday.
A Maryland judge found Martinez-Hernandez innocent of first-degree death, first-degree murder, third-degree physical offense, and kidnapping on all four counts. In a Baltimore district in August 2023, the Salvadoran brutally beat, rape, and strangling the mother of five while she was out for a ride.
Morin’s death appeared vividly on the 2024 plan road, which created a number of issues related to illegal immigration.
The defense just presented for ten minutes during the nine-day trial and called a second witness. Less than an hour of discussed time was spent by the judge.

Sheriff Jeff Gahler of Harford County, Maryland, criticized the country’s immigration program after the guilty verdict was announced.

According to Fox News, Gahler claimed that the immigration system, which allowed this person to enter our country illegally, remain there, committed crimes in Los Angeles, and therefore reside in Harford County, is the loss.
After being apprehended in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Martinez-Hernandez was found to be connected to the murder victim through DNA discovered at the murder field.
