On Monday, pop star Katy Perry boarded Blue Origin’s New Shepard aircraft, making her one of the few civilians to travel to place. There’s no place like home, Perry wrote in a blog on X shortly after her return, accompanied by a center and an Earth emoji, expressing her joy and gratitude for being up.
Prior to this, she described the experience as “emotional,” claiming that it was” next only to being a mother.” She also sang” What a wonderful world,” which she described as being particularly moving during the brief journey.
She added that the journey was a private one, revealing how much passion she possesses and how surrounded by it she is.
After a around 10-minute sub-orbital aircraft, which took her more than 100 kilometers above the planet’s surface, Perry safely returned to Earth.
The first female manned mission of Blue Origin’s 11th spaceflight was conducted by a female pilot. As they approached the internationally recognized Kármán series, the crew dimly felt like they were floating.
Gayle King, Jeff Bezos ‘ fiance Lauren Sánchez, Aisha Bowe, an activist for civil rights, Amanda Nguyen, and Kerianne Flynn joined Perry as film’s co-host.
