Officers discovered Abrego Garcia driving without a valid passport during a routine traffic stop in Tennessee while transporting seven different people from Texas to Maryland. He should have been in warm water just from that, but what transpired next is even more unsettling.
According to sources close to the event, Abrego Garcia was stopped on December 6, 2022 for an unspecified cause, and the THP official accountable for the stop soon discovered he had seven passengers and eight people in total inside the vehicle.
