A “hatchet-wielding threat” in Tucson, Arizona, “nearly decapitated in front of his family” earlier this month.

One month after their father’s death, a father of two was almost killed in front of his family and left in critical state by a hatchet-wielding threat as the pair were traveling across the country. When 25-year-old Daniel Michael confronted the piece and attacked them without provocation, Jacob Couch, 32, was sitting on a vehicle stop chair with his family Kristen in Tucson, Arizona. He is attempting to save his career.

The event occurred on April 25 according to Pima County court records obtained by 13 News. According to the court documents, Couch was hit with a knife and suffered a significant wound to the back of his neck.

It’s difficult to see your partner become so nearly decapitated and to be the only one to help, according to Kristen Couch, the murderer’s wife, who spoke to 13 News. Jacob Couch’s brother, Luke Couch, stated to the media,” He’s not expected to make it right now. Simply put, we’ve been taking it as we can.”

The defendant’s sister-in-law, Erica Sims, said,” The injury cut the arteries in his throat in half; it hit his skull.”

Law enforcement officials were able to detect Michael as the suspect in the most recent assault, according to 13 Information. Only three days after the incident, law enforcement officials located Michael at his house and discovered the clothes he wore and the knife he used to strike his residence, according to the outlet.

The 25-year-old believe has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, according to court documents obtained by 13 News. If Couch passes away from his injuries, Michael may experience additional charges, including a state crime demand, according to the store.
