Asim Munir, the head of the Pakistani army, defended the” two-nation theory” that led to the creation of Pakistan on Wednesday, citing differences between Hindus and Muslims in “every possible aspect of life.”
The Pakistani common stated at the Overseas Pakistanis Convention in Islamabad that parents may tell their children the tale of Pakistan so that the” tale of Pakistan should never be forgotten.”
Munir said,” You must describe Pakistan’s history to your kids so that they don’t forget how different Hindus were from us in every way possible,”
The basis of the two-nation theory was laid on the ground that our religion is unique, our customs are diverse, our traditions are various, our beliefs are different, and our goals are different. We are two countries, he continued, and we are not one country.
The Pakistani Prime Minister was also present for Munir’s conversation, where he continued,” Our forefathers mounted that persistent struggle to create this land.” Our predecessors have made a lot of sacrifices for the development of this nation, and they know how to protect it. They have done it.
The Pakistan military chief urged his countrymen to keep in mind the story of Pakistan, and to remember to tell it to their next generation, so that their bond with it always weakens, whether it is in the next generation, fourth generation, fifth generation, or third generation, so that they are aware of how important Pakistan is to them.
The Muslim League’s” two-nation idea” advocated for a unique position for Muslims who had been carved out of the continent. Eventually, the idea developed into a movement, which served as the foundation for the Pakistan movement.
Munir also pledged to eradicate violence in Balochistan, saying that “even ten years of jihadists cannot hurt Balochistan and Pakistan.”
He praised Pakistanis who are committed to the country and said the military is determined to combat terrorism.
