As Washington and Europe work together to find a solution to the conflict in Paris on Thursday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and French President Emmanuel Macron met in Paris to discuss a stalemate for the Ukraine.

In Italy, a second round is scheduled for Saturday.
Individually, Sebastien Lecornu, the French defense minister, may travel to Washington on Thursday.
He will discuss topics including Gaza, Iran, and Ukraine with US defense minister Pete Hegseth.
