Juan Carlos Lopez Gomez walked out of a Florida prison after spending a night in jail, according to CNN, after being falsely accused of being an “unauthorised alien.”
His personal meeting with his family is captured in a video on social media.
According to his attorney Mutaqee Akbar, Gomez was detained on Wednesday by the Florida Highway Patrol during a traffic stop. He was traveling to Tallahassee for his construction project by crossing the Florida-bound Georgia state range from his Georgian home, a regular 45-minute drive to work.

- Juan Carlos Lopez Gomez, age 20, was born in Grady County, Georgia, and currently resides in Cairo, Georgia.
