On Thursday, April 17, a 22-year-old man from&nbsp, Riverside&nbsp, and a 28-year-old man from&nbsp, Fresno&nbsp, were identified as the two Marines&nbsp, who were killed earlier this week when their car rolled over on a street in&nbsp, New Mexico&nbsp during a caravan action to&nbsp, El Paso,

Lance Cpl. Albert A. Aguilera of&nbsp, Riverside, and Lance Cpl. Both combat engineers, Marcelino M. Gamino and Fresno, died in the morning crash on April 15 at 10o’clock. Following an purchase issued by&nbsp, President&nbsp, Donald Trump&nbsp, in January, they were stationed at&nbsp, Camp Pendleton&nbsp, Marines&nbsp, and as part of the Joint Task Force-Southern Border, which was overseeing the army deployment there.

Their reduction “is deeply felt by all of us,” according to a statement from the U.S. &nbsp, Marine Corps &nbsp, Lt. Col. &nbsp, Tyrone Barrion, commanding agent for the 1st Combat Engineer Battalion &nbsp, and Task Force Sapper. I extend my sincere condolences and thoughts to the people of our fallen boys. Our top priority is to make sure that their people and the Marines who have passed have the full support they need at this challenging time right now.

Aguilera was promoted to a lance corporal in May 2024, according to Marine leaders, who confirmed the news on Thursday.

Gamino was promoted to a weapon corporal in August 2024 and enlisted in May 2022. Both served in the 1st Combat Engineer Battalion and the 1st Marine Division, respectively.

The National Defense Service Medal and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon are among Gamino’s designs. Additionally, he was stationed with a Marine Rotational Force in Darwin, Australia, in 2024.

According to Marine leaders, another Marine with the&nbsp, 1st Combat Engineer Battalion&nbsp, is still in critical condition and receiving treatment for their injury.

Aguilar and Gamino were pronounced deceased at the hospital where the three Marines, who were also in the military, were taken, according to the Marines.

A Marine official earlier this year stated that the&nbsp, Marines&nbsp, were a part of the military system supporting the southern border objective. The product is in charge of strengthening existing border security measures, including concertina wire and other physical obstacles, to hinder illegal crossings and increase safety.
