US President Donald Trump made fun of being “royalty” after receiving a group from American Samoa in a humorous way after signing an executive order.
The group explained that their lifestyle uses the garland as a representation of royalty. Trump reacted,” Does that mean I’m nobility?” The White House Communications Director, Margo Martin, captured the moment on cameras and shared it with everyone.
Trump signed the executive order titled” Unleashing American Commercial Fishing in the Pacific,” which aims to reopen Pacific lakes to US fish ships. The purchase addresses problems like the almost half of the US Exclusive Economic Zone being hampered by professional fishing restrictions and international competition.
The private sector of American Samoa may have greater exposure to the Pacific fishing industry, which is essential for the state’s economy. The executive order is anticipated to give the region a considerable boost because over 80 % of the country’s economy is dependent on fish.
Trump jokedly asked the group to give him some “nice tuna” as the meeting neared its conclusion, citing the importance of the fishing industry there.
