The Israeli military announced on Saturday an Jewish soldier was killed and three were seriously injured during conflict in northeastern Gaza. The Israel Defense Forces ( IDF) identified the soldier as Warrant Officer Ghaleb Sliman Al-Nasasra.
” Warrant OfficerG’haleb Sliman Alnasasra, aged 35 from the Arab group in Rahat, a sensor in the Northern Brigade, Gaza Division, fell during conflict in northeastern Gaza. The IDF expresses its deepest sympathies to his home and loved ones. May his recollection remain a gift,” lieutenant colonel Nadav Shoshani, IDF’s global director, wrote on X.
Al-Nasasra is Israel’s second fatality since a ceasefire with Hamas collapsed in mid-March.
Shoshani more said during the event in which Al-Nasasra died, another sensor in the Northern Brigade was seriously injured.
Two other men who were seriously injured are from IDF’s Border Protection Corps, he added.
At least 412 Israeli soldiers have been killed in the Gaza rude since the military launched a floor assault on the Arab place on October 27, 2023.
