In a move seen as yet another snub against the organization, President Donald Trump will not attend this year’s White House Correspondents ‘ Association (WCHA ) annual dinner because of his long feud with the left-leaning Washington D.C. press corps.

Axios first learned earlier this week that the chairman would not be attending the annual April 26 supper after shunning it during his first management.  ,
President Trump has a negative relationship with the popular media, which he has claimed has shown to be biased heavily against him and his followers.
The White House removed its power over the rotating lake of reporters covering the chairman, which it had done since 1914, in February.
The White House Press Team may decide the White House Press Pool, according to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt at the time.
She continued,” Legacy outlets who have been a part of the press pool for decades may still be able to join,” adding,” but we will also be offering the privilege to well-deserving outlets, who have never been given the privilege of sharing in this great responsibility.”
Leavitt continued,” A select group of journalists with bases in Washington may no longer have a monopoly over the White House’s click access.”
The WHCA responded in March by saying that “if the White House pushes forward, it will become even more obvious that the administration is trying to deliberately seize command of the structure through which the independent media integrates itself, so that it is easier to impose sanctions on outlets for their insurance.”

The White House wants to press editors over reports they disagree with, which is why they did that when they took command of the lake.
The senator and his staff clearly stated in the WHCA that this was unambiguous with The Associated Press that their detention from covering political events was sentence for their style guide.
The Trump administration most notably removed reporters from the Associated Press and other media outlets from the White House press pool because it chose to use” Gulf of Mexico” in place of” Gulf of America” in its style guide.
On First Amendment grounds, a U.S. District Court judge earlier this month reinstated the Associated Press into the White House Press Pool after challenging that choice.
Karoline Leavitt, a former White House press minister, announced it on a radio interview in March with Sean Spicer, a Trump spokesperson, and has also stated that she will not attend the meal.
Leavitt told Spicer in an exam that” this is a group of journalists who’ve been covering the White House for years.”
They created this group because the leaders at the time did not hold sufficient press conferences. Under the leadership of this leader, I don’t believe we have that issue again,” she continued.

No performers may be hosting the supper as usual this year, as expected, after the WHCA fired number Amber Ruffin in response to negative remarks she made about President Trump.
The WHCA claimed Ruffin was fired” to ensure the target is not on the politics of sector but wholly on honoring our colleagues for their excellent job and providing fellowship and mentorship to the next generation of journalists.”
According to Politico, the White House is officially considering hosting a foe function that day because it also happens to be First Lady Melania Trump’s day.
