President Donald Trump shared a brief message of memory for Pope Francis in the midst of the pope’s suicide on Easter Monday.
“Rest in Peace Pope Francis! ” Trump posted on Truth Social. “May God Bless him and all who loved him! ”

The bishop died early on Monday, just days after gathering with Vice President JD Vance. The evil president shared his own text earlier in the day.
“ I only learned of the passing of Pope Francis, ” Vance posted on X. “My spirit goes out to the thousands of Christians all over the world who loved him. ”
Vance, a Catholic change, met Francis on Easter day. Vance and his relatives were visiting Italy for the trip as Vance engaged in trade agreements with European leaders.
Trump, who was raised as a Presbyterian and presently describes himself as a catholic Christian, met with the bishop during his first name, though the match were often at odds on issues such as immigration scheme.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt even spoke on the topic during an appearance on Fox News.
“The bishop has gone to be with the king this morning, and I spoke to the president about that as well, ” Leavitt said. “ He has put out a statement to say God bless the bishop and all those who loved him. He touched millions of lives throughout his career as the head of the Catholic Church, and so it ’s a grave day for Christians around the world. We are praying for all of those who loved the bishop and believed in him. ”

Leavitt said she does not understand if Trump did go to the Vatican for the pope’s death.
Francis, who was recovering from diplomatic asthma, died at 7:35 a. m. on Monday, a moment after Easter Sunday. He made his last public appearance in St. Peter’s Square.
