Dick Durbin, a long-time senator from Illinois, is suddenly retiring. Given that Hitler actually owns X, why are these folks also using it? —that he had never run for president when his name is up.  ,

” It has not been simple to decide whether to run for reelection.” I genuinely enjoy serving as a senator of the United States, but I also believe it is time to pass the torch, but I’ve announced today that I won’t run for reelection at the end of my term,” the Democrat said in the picture.  ,
He continued,” The citizens of Illinois have honored me with this duty for more than anyone elected to the Senate in our country’s history.”  ,
The issues facing our nation are exceptional and historical, he continued, adding that this was typical. I can tell you that I will do everything in my power to fight for Illinois and the future of our nation because the risks to our republic and way of life are very real.
He stated that he has spent more than half of his life in Congress, which is not to be praised, and that he has always” tried to stand up for the people of Illinois and our land.”
He thanked his home for accomplishing his way to long career, and said Liberals have a” strong chair” waiting for them. Best.  ,
He once more told the New York Times:
In an interview revealing his ideas, Mr. Durbin, who is currently in his second term in the US, said it was difficult to make the decision to step aside from his seat of power and engage in combat with President Trump, who he perceives as a serious threat to democracy. He referred to new instances as” when I thought, Man, I don’t want to lose this fight.”
” But you know,” he continued,” I have to be open and honest about this.” Good people are waiting in the wings, nice people are waiting to function, and they can fight this battle just as successfully as I can. There comes a stage where you must accept that this is the right time for me to depart.

Durbin’s slander of liberals will always be fondly remembered. He urged the IRS to check the tax-exempt position of liberal nonprofit organizations, including temples, in 2010 during President Obama’s presidency. He blatantly stated it on the Senate site: Â
The IRS should immediately look into the tax situation of Crossroads GPS and other companies that are pouring millions of dollars into political advertising without providing details about their revenue sources, according to Assistant Senate Majority Leader Dick Durbin (D-IL ). According to U.S. tax law, 501( c )( 4 ) organizations must not engage in political activities, including “participation or intervention in political campaigns.”
” I write to urge the Internal Revenue Service to examine the primary functions of a number of 501 ( c ) ( 4 ) organizations that appear to be in breach of the law,” Durbin wrote. Crossroads GPS has spent nearly$ 20 million on television advertising specifically for Senate campaigns this year. If the organization’s key task is actually political activity, it raises important questions about its compliance with the Internal Revenue Code.
In response, the IRS targeted applications for nonprofit status between 2010 and 2012 using terms like” Tea Party,”” Patriots,” and” 9/12.” Groups were the targets of outrageous inquiries, delays, and yet requests for donor lists.  ,

Crossroads GPS, Media Trackers, Real the Voting, Tea Party Patriots, and even the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association were just a few examples of the program. The Department of Justice was required to declare wrongdoing, accept responsibility and pay settlement costs in lawsuits with almost 500 individuals even though no criminal charges were ever brought against them ( which should have been ).  ,
Thanks, Dick Durbin, for everything. We didn’t lose you at all.
