Mexico’s lack of enforcement of its own climate legislation is one reason why it is able to lower U.S. manufacturers ‘ prices. The Mexican government’s environmental agency has regulations that are just as strict as those of the United States Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA ). The distinction is that they apparently, somewhat, somewhat neglect to force businesses to follow them.

It’s never a recent issue. And it’s getting worse. More than 100 billion gallons of industrial-grade sewage have migrated down the Tijuana River since 2018, crossing into America through Navy-owned area and the Pacific.
Lee Zeldin, the head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA ), is calling for Mexico to take action to address a problem that is causing Californian schools, schoolgirls, and sickening Navy SEALs.
Zeldin promised to provide the Mexican state with a list of the necessary projects to address the issue. No one is positive that anything will transform because Mexico has repeatedly ignored U.S. requests to clean up its side of the border.
According to Zeldin,” We’re going to realize whether or not Mexico is going to do its part in resolving it, and finally we’ll go from there, as far as strategy and tactics,” the Associated Press quoted Zeldin as saying.
An increasing number of pathogens have entered the valley and San Diego County as Tijuana’s wastewater treatment plants have aged and its people and business have grown. Since 2018, there have been more than 100 billion litres of raw wastewater laden with industrial substances and debris.
Athletes, surfers, lifeguards, children, Border Patrol agents, and others who do not actually go in the waters have been sickened by the pollution. According to experts, the wastewater evaporates when it foams away and enters the weather.
After the Naval Special Warfare Center discovered 1, 168 cases of acute gastric diseases in its recruits between 2019 and 2023, the Navy is considering whether to travel its SEAL candidate training facility.

More than 14.5 billion litres of neglected natural effluent from Mexico were imported into California from Mexico last year as a result of a storm that struck the San Diego-Tijuana area.  ,
More than$ 653 million has been allocated to address the pollution, Zeldin said, but the issue has persisted largely as a result of delays by the Mexican government.  ,
The EPA administrator offers hope for the future, but he also warned that the U.S.’s compassion was waning.
Zeldin stated,” The new Hispanic leader has an extreme need to completely resolve this situation.”
There is no way for us to walk before the citizens of California and demand that they show more compassion and patience as we go through the next 10 to 20 or 30 years of being stuck in 12 feet of fresh sewage and no moving,” he said. ” So we are all having trouble breathing.”
The filth coming out of Tijuana is one of the biggest issues. In addition, Zeldin wants to place gates to divert ten million liters of wastewater away from the shore and more floodgates to obtain the debris before it crosses the frontier.  ,
It is unjustifiable that this issue has been allowed to reach a crisis level. The government is refusing to dump goods, people, and garbage onto American earth, making thousands of Californians suffer as a result of this abominable dumping of filth and effluent by Mexico.
