After the 2024 election, Alex Soros, the brother of Democratic megadonor George Soros, disclosed additional information about a meeting with Elon Musk, the head of the Department of Government Performance, that was postponed.
Alex Soros discussed Musk’s plan to meet with him in November 2024 in an appointment with Simon van Zuylen-Wood of New York Magazine. Despite the two men’s opposing political viewpoints, Alex Soros backed former Vice President Kamala Harris and Elon Musk backed President Donald Trump, the of post Smart head said he was interested in learning about the Soros king’s views.  ,
However, Alex Soros claimed that he had never heard again from Musk after a common friendship connected the two men. He suggested that Musk should stay put because he was concerned about the “MAGA crowd’s reaction.”

George Soros, a controversial left-wing businessman who founded the Open Society Foundations, nurtured close ties to Democratic services, targeted the Trump administration’s objective, and has long strongly supported progressive causes in the United States and overseas, is his successor.  ,
Musk has criticized the Soros community in recent months after suggesting he would join with Alex Soros, claiming that they are connected to organizations that fund and organize countrywide demonstrations against DOGE. Republican lawmakers who back the bureaucracy-slashing effort were the targets of those protests, which also included Tesla dealership and product theft.
