Following its original withdrawal at the Kennedy Center, a party honoring President Donald Trump’s 100th day of his returning to the White House has then found a new location.
Wednesday is the 100th time of Trump’s second term in office. Alysia McMillan, event host, was forced to look for a new place this week when the event’s appointment was cancelled due to” contract breaches.” McMillan confirmed to the Washington Examiner that the show’s new site will now be located at Top of the Town in Arlington, Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C.
McMillan acknowledged that the new location is “great,” but that it also adds an extra step in terms of how she is getting ready for the party because the Kennedy Center has” a whole generation group” to assist her with the preparation.
This area is just that: it’s a pretty large, open space with a stunning view of D.C., McMillan told the Washington Examiner. So it’s like,” OK, I have to put all the things in it, I have to provide the decor, I have to find this, and I have to consider that. Therefore, it won’t be difficult because everyone in the room will contribute to its greatness.
McMillan claimed that she had an idea of what caused her appointment to be canceled at the Kennedy Center, citing how she had signed an “events deal” with Megan Cikari, who was the Kennedy Center’s former chairman of campus planning. Cikari was fired on April 18th, though. McMillan claimed she did not speak with Cikari directly, but that her appointment was canceled a few days after her firing, adding that the center alleged” deal violations” without providing specifics.

According to the show’s website, the celebration may have an elegant happy hour that will be followed by a “high-energy” celebration. Additionally, the X account for the event has revealed that a flight is being developed to move people from the Kennedy Center to the Top of the Town location.
and we will be working to set up a flight to get customers who intend to visit the Kennedy Center to this new location without getting turned off.

” From day one, the event’s sole objective has been to thank President Trump, welcome him back to D.C., and letting his supporters know that he is here and that we want to, like, we have reason to celebrate,” he said. Why don’t we instead? McMillan remarked.
Trump may be holding a rally in Michigan on Tuesday to mark his 100th time in office, marking his first state visit since winning it in the November Electoral College. On Election Day day, he held his final 2024 march in the state of Michigan.

According to McMillan,” I think it’s fantastic that he’s holding a protest for that day and that people will be able to enjoy him in person and attend something like that,” and that her celebration will be streamed but” we will get to view him” even if he’s not present in person.
