US asks for home addresses, biometrics of H-1B applicants first time ever: ‘Highly unusual’

US asks for home addresses, biometrics of H-1B applicants first time ever: 'Highly unusual'
If there is any “diverse knowledge” about the applicant, USCIS is looking for home addresses and fingerprint as more information from H-1B candidates.

Federal immigrant regulators are now requesting house addresses and biometrics for H-1B and employment-based american petitions, which expat lawyers believe are very uncommon because biometrics are typically not required, in a fresh problem for H-1B applicants. For this data, immigration authorities are issuing Requests for Evidence ( RFE).
A Ask for Evidence is a proper notice sent by USCIS when additional documentation is necessary to evaluate a petition. If there is a difference in the software, it can not be seen as a rejection but rather a normal step. An RFE must clearly state which eligibility requirements have been met, explain why the available materials are insufficient, and provide suggestions for further supporting documentation to meet the requirements in accordance with USCIS instructions.
If there are errors in the project details, missing evidence, or a lack of supporting proof, these requests are quite popular.

In light of the assault on newcomers, is it targeting H-1Bs?

This is unusual because fingerprint are not normally required for these type of cases, according to Goel &amp, Anderson’s Vic Goel, of the immigration rules firm. Companies and prosecutors are left in the dark by the RFEs because they also fail to explain the nature of the negative information. The Department of Homeland Security [DHS] may be using artificial intelligence ( AI ) tools to identify individuals based on unreleased data, possibly from social media or other government databases.
We have received probably unfavorable information about the recipient. In a Request for Data, a USCIS judge wrote in a Forbes article that we needed the beneficiary’s updated address to proceed processing your software or petition.
The Trump administration’s assault on immigrants is supported by the “adverse knowledge” portion. Making America healthy means revoke permits when risks are made, according to State Secretary Marco Rubio. According to Rubio,” US immigration holders should be aware without a doubt that the US government’s comprehensive security screening does not end after a visa is granted.”
