Previous Biden administration official Alan Goldenberg acknowledged in an interview with Israel’s Channel 13 that the United States government attempted to remove Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from power following the Hamas-led evil assault in Israel on October 7, 2023.
According to a report from Channel 13, insiders of the Biden administration who had formerly remained motionless during the first Trump time are now starting to share their experiences.
In his capacity as the administrator of the Biden administration and afterwards as the director of Kamala Harris ‘ presidential campaign, Goldenberg praised the White House’s efforts to use Biden’s temporary acceptance and Netanyahu’s declining public help to push for a change in Israel’s leadership, particularly after Hamas backed out of an initial prisoner agreement.
Goldenberg also suggested that the presidency might have used unjust methods to force Netanyahu’s resignation:
” A lot of people were discussing, even in the Oval Office, the possibility of, say, the president going up and giving a speech. [Opposition leader ] Benny Gantz was sitting at 37 [seats] and Bibi was sitting at [almost 15 ] in the polls, right? He was also very poor. In Israel, Joe Biden was also very well-known.
The release is reported on by Breitbart News:
You can end the conflict, release all the victims, negotiate a deal that includes actually trying to oust Hamas from the country, or you can continue to work as you please because Israel is in a perpetual conflict, you know, your sons and daughters will continue to fight, and the majority of the hostages will leave useless. … To see if you can trigger elections, or something else, one could neither pressure Prime Minister Netanyahu into agreeing to that, or scramble Israeli politics and see if that will lead to elections. That’s what people were saying when they said,” This only break this up because it’s not going anywhere great.”
Goldenberg’s account corresponds with past happenings. President Biden publicly supported a contentious petition from then-Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY ) asking that Israelis vote Netanyahu out of office in March 2024.
But, as he resisted pressure from the Biden presidency and launched a military activity in Rafah, a town near Gaza’s borders with Egypt, his standing among the Jewish people eventually improved. That activity resulted in the recovery of captives and the assassination of Hamas innovator Yahya Sinwar.
There was never a place at which Hamas offered solid guarantees to discharge the hostages, despite Goldenberg’s portrayal of a potential deal, according to Breitbart. Hamas rejected the majority of its proposals, and there was never a deal that would guarantee the transfer of all Jewish prisoners.
