According to a new report, under President Donald Trump’s deportation efforts, immigration and customs enforcement ( ICE ) officials have detained over 200 terrorists or suspected terrorists.

Since the 47th government’s opening in January, ICE authorities have taken 219 confirmed and suspected jihadists into custody, according to The New York Post. The Trump president’s detention, according to Department of Homeland Security information obtained by the outlet, are a 655 % increase over the same time period in 2024, when just 29 criminal and suspected criminal prosecutions were carried out under previous President Joe Biden.

According to The New York Post, Harpreet Singh, an American federal who illegally entered the United States on January 27, 2022, after crossing Mexico into Arizona, has been identified as one of the terrorists who has just been detained by ICE leaders. According to the source, a DHS official claimed that Border Patrol agents had detained Singh and given him a court date under the Biden-Harris leadership.

Tricia McLaughlin, associate director to the Department of Homeland Security, claimed Singh had been given permission to travel throughout the country for more than three times in a statement obtained by The New York Post.

According to McLaughlin,” The Biden administration never only allowed a wanted criminal into our country, but they also released him into the inside of our state” after he was detained by Border Patrol agents. Given that the Biden administration frequently releases unvetted terrorists and criminals into American communities, “it’s surprising, but it’s not surprising.”

According to Fox News, Singh was one of India’s “most wanted people” because of his alleged involvement in criminal activities, including planning more than a few rocket attacks against police authorities.

Singh was “wanted in connection with numerous terror attacks across Punjab, India,” according to a statement from the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s ( FBI ) Sacramento Field Office, and was “presumed to have collaborated with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence ( ISI) and the Khalistani terrorist group Babbar Khalsa International ( BKI).”

According to McLaughlin,” Under President Trump and Secretary Noem’s management, ICE is unleashed to eradicate these violent criminals from America’s streets&nbsp, and put an end to find and transfer.” McLaughlin cited the Trump administration’s deportation efforts regarding terrorists and another “violent criminals.”

FBI Director Kash Patel reaffirmed their warning to Singh’s recent arrest, saying,” The FBI will continue to find those who commit crime, no matter where they are.”
