The Democrats are thus riddled with Stage 4 Trump Derangement Syndrome that screeching in pain is the only reaction they have been able to come up with in the nearly six weeks since Kamala Harris was sent fleeing for her field of wine early on election day. They’re not very good any more, but they still can be audible.  ,
The Dems genuinely believe they are the frontline of an anti-Trump backlash that will spread into the sidewalks of this wonderful area and bring them back to power because their toxic groove of failure has made them so terrible. It would appear that they may have been absolutely banging their heads against a wall for this past half-year.  ,
Now, folks are swooning over David Brooks calling for a” detailed national political uprising”, which Rick wrote on and my Restless partner Sam J. covered below. Yes, David Brooks would be the same as him who once fetished the crease in Barack Obama’s slacks. More on him in a moment.  ,
Over at RedState, my colleague Nick Arama writes about Florida congresswoman and perpetual fashion cry for help Frederica Wilson exhorting people to” threaten” members of Congress. Additionally, Wilson calls for an uprising because the Left is a hive mind that cannot breathe without common talking points.  ,
There is no evidence to support Wilson and David Brooks ‘ existence as of this writing.  ,
The kind of person who pours vegan mayonnaise on a taco when someone else gets Final Jeopardy before him is the soyest of the soy boys, David Brooks. Frederica Wilson is the woman who Jasmine Crockett points to after saying,” Hey, if you think I’m crazy..”.
The Great Democratic Party Uprising of 2025 will be led by these two winners this week.
I have no doubt that the Democrats are seething and would like to do some mostly peaceful rioting and looting. They throw tantrums at you. As I wrote in my short, but brilliant, tome,” Don’t Let the Hippies Shower” ( two plugs in two days! Progressivism is the toddler mindset that manifests itself in adulthood.

Here’s the thing, though: Democrats don’t have the you-know-whats to revolt in any places where they aren’t surrounded by slightly richer versions of themselves, as well as friendly politicians and law enforcement. Particularly in areas of the nation where the Second Amendment is still regarded as a God-given right, their uprising fever is tempered.  ,
Being persistent public nuisances in cities where no one was voting Republican without a plan full of revolutionary possibilities isn’t really a plan.  ,
But that is the only strategy they have.

Deb, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this. I enjoyed the whole thing but wanted to give you a digital high-five for the MAGA/Tea Party comparison. The Morning Brief is my one true must-reads each day. Today’s Brief did not let up ( they never do! ), and nbsp! ), but the highlight for me today was the Kabana Comedy/Tunes clip. My wife and I have a long love for the television series” Coupling,” and the entire DVD collection can be found here.  , We couldn’t hear the word “inferno” without giggling a little bit ( IYKYK). After spending over 30 years together, my wife passed away last fall, but the memories are still present.  , Seeing that clip today gave me a bit of chuckle, and perhaps a tear or two as well, as it brought up more shared times my wife and I had. An unanticipated bonus from the Morning Brief.  , Thanks so much.
Thank you so much for letting me know about this, Randall. ” Coupling” is one of the somewhat hidden ( forgotten? ) sitcom treasures from the early 21st century. I’m sorry for your loss, but grateful that you were able to enjoy the memories that the clip evoked. I’ll try to find a clip from the” Inferno” episode so I can post it here, but I’m afraid that might not be possible. I will, of course, rewatch the entire thing sometime this weekend. It will feel like time travel if there are no cellphones and no mention of VCRs.
