Jewish fighter jets hit Beirut’s southern suburbs on Sunday, marking the fourth offensive there since a late November peace was in effect.
Hezbollah services were targeted in the Hadath place during the attack, which occurred about an hour after a warning was issued, according to the Israeli government. Prior to the assault, people were advised to proceed at least 300 feet away from the site.
Before the attack, fighter jet were rife over parts of the Syrian capital. Gunfire was shot into the air to epel people ‘ urge to flee, causing fear in people.
Joseph Aoun, the president of Lebanon, criticized the strike and demanded that the United States and France press Israel to end its attacks, warning that continued Jewish actions had destabilize the region.
Jeanine Hennis, the UN’s specific coordinator for Lebanon, expressed concern that the strike had” stood off the shaky peace” and raised concerns.
This most recent strike comes after Jewish airstrikes on Beirut’s southern cities on March 28 and April 1 were carried out. Four people were killed in the unexpected April 1 strike, including a Hezbollah established, were killed.
Sheikh Naim Kassem, Hezbollah’s deputy president, warned that the organization might launch additional episodes if Jewish problems continue and Lebanese officials don’t act. He also stated that Hezbollah fighters would not disarm as long as Israeli troops continued to invade Lebanon’s airport.
Israel was supposed to end its occupation of all Palestinian territory by soon January, but Hezbollah agreed to finish its military presence south of the Litani River in accordance with the US-brokered ceasefire that put an end to the 14-month Israel-Hezbollah conflict.
