Bianca Castro, better known as Jiggly Caluente, passed away at the age of 44 after having hip surgery due to a bad infection. Their home made the announcement, and she posted a statement on her Instagram website. It is with deep pain that we announce the departure of Bianca Castro-Arebejo, who is well-known throughout the world and cherished by many as Jiggly Caliente, according to the statement.
Castro and her mother lived in Queens, New York City, when she and her nephew, aged 10, immigrated to the United States. After competing in the fourth year of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2012, she gained acclaim as Jiggle Caliente.
” Bianca passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at 4:42 am, surrounded by her loving family and close friends. Jiggly Caliente, a dazzling presence in the fields of entertainment and advocacy, is renowned for her unwavering virtuosity, harsh wit, and unwavering authenticity.
She “impacted many livelihoods through her craft, engagement, and the real connection she fostered with fans around the world,” the statement continued. Her reputation is one of light, confidence, and love.
The joy she shared and the space she helped build for so many will stay long, even though her bodily presence has faded. She may be greatly missed, forever loved, and forever remembered. The tribute was concluded in” Loving Memory of Bianca Castro-Arebejo ( Jiggly Caliente ) November 29, 1980, to April 27, 2025.”
Her home informed her on April 24 that she had had her right foot amputated because of a serious health issue. She was even informed that she would not be taking any public appearances and would no longer be a judge for the upcoming winter of RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines.
