The student group then obtained the University of Alabama to remove gender ideology from a nondiscrimination statement in a recent victory for one YAF chapter.
In their nondiscrimination statements, UA initially required student organizations to use gender ideology terms like “gender identity” and” sexual identity.” YAF objected, claiming that it constituted a violation of their First Amendment rights. The university granted YAF an exemption and eventually removed the gender ideology language from the required statement for all student groups.  ,
