
After allegedly hiding an illegal immigrant from immigration and customs enforcement ( ICE ) officials in her jury room last week, a Wisconsin judge was detained by the FBI on Friday morning.
Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan, who was endorsed by the Democratic Mayor of Milwaukee, was detained on Friday and accused of obstructing an official moving by helping an illegal immigrant disguise from ICE officers, according to a legal complaint obtained by Fox News. Additionally, the judge in Wisconsin was accused of concealing a person to avert identification and imprisonment.
According to Fox News, the charges were brought after Mexican federal Eduardo Flores-Ruiz was detained on April 18 after making an appearance in court with three misdemeanor battery costs. The judge in Wisconsin instructed provincial officials to visit the main jury’s office, according to the outlet.
In order to avoid the common place where the federal authorities were awaiting Flores-Ruiz’s arrest, Dugan reportedly escorted both the illegal immigrant and his lawyer through a limited judge door.

FBI Director Kash Patel even stated in a statement on X that” Just Today, the FBI arrested Judge Hannah Dugan out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin on charges of obstruction — following evidence of Judge Dugan obstructing an immigration arrest activity next month.”
We think Judge Dugan purposefully omitted Eduardo Flores Ruiz, the subject of her court case, from the public eye, thereby allowing the subject, an illegal alien, to avoid arrest, Patel added. Thankfully, our agents chased down the perp on foot, and he has been in custody ever since, but the Judge’s obstructation put the public in greater danger.
Dugan did not make any public remarks on Friday during her federal court hearing, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Dugan’s attorney, Craig Mastantuono, stated,” Judge Dugan wholeheartedly regrets and protests her arrest. It was not made in the public’s best interest.
